What to report without repeating attempts
- Dark keypad : Say whether it is completely dark or showing a low-battery indicator. Find the exact manual before changing the power supply.
- Beeps or a message after entering the code : Report the message and how many attempts you have already made, without sharing the code. Any lockout period is model-specific.
- Code accepted, door still shut : Describe what the handle does and any resistance. Do not use a lever or strike the safe: an acceptance signal does not establish that the mechanism has released.
Provide the brand, visible model reference and lock type. State whether the safe is open or closed, anchored or built in, and have proof of ownership or authorised access ready for verification.
Send a photo of the front and accessible model label, without the code, combination or contents. Do not force the handle or repeatedly try codes: some models impose a lockout period. Opening and repair are assessed separately
Feasibility depends on the locking system, condition and safe construction. Non-destructive methods are preferred when the mechanism allows.
Opening does not mean the safe can be reused without repair. Access to the contents, restoring operation and any replacement parts are assessed separately. Choosing and installing a safe
Specify the internal space needed, contents, frequency of access and intended location. Weight, building access, stairs and the mounting surface affect delivery and anchoring. Installation must follow the selected model’s instructions and suit the supporting structure.
EN 1143-1 concerns burglary resistance; EN 15659 and EN 1047-1 concern fire resistance. Check the exact certificate for the grade, duration and contents protected: paper and data media have different needs. Consult the ECB·S certified-product directory and confirm your insurer’s written requirements before ordering.

What the quote should distinguish

- Installation: delivery, handling and anchoring, according to the weight, access route and supporting structure.
If a part needs ordering, ask how to protect the contents meanwhile and whether the safe remains usable. Do not close a safe with a faulty mechanism without instructions appropriate to the model.

Do you install safes?
Yes, we sell and install built-in and freestanding safes. EN 1143-1 certifies burglary resistance; EN 15659 and EN 1047-1 cover fire resistance. We check the exact reference, anchoring and any written insurer requirement.
Do you sell fireproof safes?
Yes. We distinguish protection for paper from protection for data media and state only the duration shown on the selected model's EN 15659 or EN 1047-1 certificate. Fire resistance does not establish burglary resistance; check the separate security certificate of the chosen model.
My safe is blocked but I have the right code, what should I do?
A weak battery, faulty keypad or jammed mechanism can prevent opening even with the correct code. Check your model's manual for batteries, any lockout periods and emergency power, if the manufacturer provides for it. Do not force the handle or apply voltage to unidentified contacts. If the fault persists, send us the model reference and symptoms to prepare an assessment; this symptom alone does not establish the cause or the time needed.
