1. Introduction

These general terms of use govern access to and use of the website janssensserrurier.be, operated by LAMRO GROUP, a company registered in Belgium under VAT number BE0712.625.742, with its registered office at Chaussée de Louvain 629, 1030 Schaerbeek.

By accessing this site, you accept these terms of use without reservation.

2. Services Offered

Janssens Locksmith offers professional locksmith services, including:

• Opening locked or jammed doors
• Lock installation and replacement
• Key duplication
• Automotive locksmith services
• Safe installation
• 24/7 emergency service

2a. Verification of the right of access

For any door, vehicle or safe opening, the customer must allow verification of identity and the right of access or ownership. We may request ID and, depending on the case, proof of residence, a tenancy agreement, the owner's permission or vehicle documents. We refuse the opening when the right of access cannot be reasonably verified.

3. Pricing and Payment

Before dispatch and before work starts, we provide a free quote or written confirmation on a durable medium, such as WhatsApp or email. It states the business identity, nature of the work, date and validity period, estimated duration, and the total VAT-inclusive price or its calculation method.

Travel, labour, parts and any time-related surcharge are itemised separately. Additional work or replacement found on site requires the customer's separate written approval before it is performed.

Payment is made at the end of the intervention by the following means: cash, bank card (Bancontact), or bank transfer.

No deposit is required before the intervention.

4. Service Area

Our primary service area covers the Brussels-Capital Region, Walloon Brabant and Flemish Brabant. Requests for any other Belgian address are assessed case by case; nothing is dispatched until availability and timing are checked and the price is confirmed in writing.

5. Guarantees

Installed consumer goods benefit from the legal guarantee applicable in Belgium. Any manufacturer's commercial warranty is additional and does not replace the legal guarantee; its term and conditions depend on the chosen product.

For a complaint about the service or a part, contact us with the invoice and a description of the issue so we can assess it.

6. Liability

Janssens Locksmith undertakes to perform services with professional care. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot be excluded under Belgian law.

We are not responsible for delay or failure directly caused by force majeure as understood under Belgian law.

6a. Emergency repairs and withdrawal

When the customer expressly requests an urgent repair at home, the withdrawal exception applies only to work strictly necessary to address that emergency, within the limits set by law. Additional services or goods beyond what is indispensable require separate agreement and remain subject to the applicable rules.

7. Intellectual Property

All website content (texts, images, logo, design) is the exclusive property of LAMRO GROUP or its partners. Any reproduction without prior authorization is prohibited.

8. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the site.

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Belgian law without depriving consumers of mandatory protections. In a dispute, the parties first seek an amicable solution; the competent court is then determined by the applicable legal rules.
