Incourt: Six Rural Sections of Walloon Brabant

With about 5,662 inhabitants (January 2024) over 38.91 km² (density 145.5 inh./km²), Incourt is a French-speaking commune of Walloon Brabant, at coordinates 50°42’N / 4°47’E, in the Nivelles arrondissement (postal code 1315). The commune comprises six sections: Incourt, Glimes, Opprebais, Piétrebais, Sart-Risbart and Roux-Miroir.

The low density (145 inh./km²) reflects the commune’s extensive agricultural character. Vast stretches of cultivated land, orchards and meadows dominate the landscape of this eastern part of Walloon Brabant, midway between the urbanised zones of Wavre/Louvain-la-Neuve and the Liège Hesbaye.
