With over 104,000 inhabitants spread between the centre and the districts of Heverlee, Kessel-Lo, Wilsele and Wijgmaal, Leuven is Flemish Brabant’s capital and a premier university city home to KU Leuven. This dual student and residential identity creates very varied locksmith needs.

Districts and profile

Leuven centre (3000) : High density of student rooms around the Oude Markt, Naamsestraat and Muntstraat. Locked-out doors are frequent, especially on weekends. The retail axes (Bondgenotenlaan, Diestsestraat, Tiensestraat) gather shops and restaurants with their own security requirements.

The older houses around the Grand Beguinage and Saint-Peter’s Church frequently retain lever locks that we can restore or upgrade with a high-security cylinder. Villas and recent constructions in Heverlee and Kessel-Lo widely use multipoint locks with 3 or 5 points and certified cylinders.
